Farah is the true spearhead of this adventure. Without her persistence, our retreat would never have come to fruition. She has a gift of making everyone around her feel comfortable, and a magical way of getting things done that seem impossible to others.  She will take care of every detail so that you can just show up and focus on the good stuff.  
She is honored to be your guide and humbled that you trust her to lead you in to the jungle - and a little more deeply into yourself…

Katie Hoffman is the founder of Presence by Alumas and a guide, space-holder, and creator of immersive experiences rooted in presence, embodiment, and reconnection. With a deep love for nature and human truth, she creates environments where people can slow down, soften, and remember who they are beneath the noise. Katie’s work weaves together authenticity, intuition, and grounded wisdom, offering a safe and nourishing space for participants to reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and the natural world.

Laurel expresses her creativity primarily through movement, art, and music. She teaches Zumba and other fitness modalities and has a background in nutrition and integrative health coaching - both skills she will be sharing with participants during this retreat. She makes all-natural balms, perfumes, and soaps; enjoys being out in nature; and is constantly thinking and talking about philosophical, spiritual, anthropological, and esoteric subjects. Presently residing in North Carolina, she has never been to Costa Rica before and is extremely excited!
